The AT2540i is a 2 1/2" i.d. inlet, 4" i.d. outlet with an angle-cut rolled tip. The AT2540i was designed for standard gas vehicles. The original Aeroturbine design, the AT4040, was first designed and ran on and for the racecar circuit. It was proven on both the 600hp Monte Carlos of NASCAR, and the 800hp Sprint car races in Arizona. The AT4040 was then redesigned for introduction to the general public as the AT2540i performance muffler. As the only muffler to have the patented airfoil technology, the AT2540i is the hottest new product on the Sport Compact performance exhaust market today.

The AT2540i is the most widely used model of performance exhaust we carry for Sport Compacts. The length and inlet/outlet diameters were designed to be compatible with 90% of the Sport Compact cars on the market today. Even the standard 2 1/4" and 2" exhaust pipe systems can easily be bumped up to 2 1/2"" on the inlet and outlet. The AT2540i is completely stainless steel inside and out. There is no packing or moisture collecting material in the muffler. This also allows the muffler to be run with NOS without risk of burn-out.
